Reaction Dynamics unlocks access to space through low-cost, rapid launch capability, using hybrid rocket technology and satellite solutions.

RDX flagship rocket Aurora ensures dedicated, small-satellite launch capability using hybrid rocket technology.
With low part count and a simplified production process, we reduce the costs of space launches, all while increasing reliability and performance.
With stockpile-friendly rockets, we are designing for weekly launches and empowering customers with reserves that assure space-access.
Founded in 2017 in Canada, Reaction Dynamics is pioneering hybrid rocket technology with a world-class team.
Leveraging a patented hybrid rocket engine design that solves a 90-year old problem in propulsion, RDX is driving down cost-to-orbit, while increasing availability of launch solutions.
Today, we are Canada's most advanced rocket company, with a maiden suborbital space launch scheduled for 2026 and a first orbital launch scheduled for 2028.

RDX Aurora provides small satellite operators a reliable and cost-effective solution for launching into Low Earth Orbit. And because RDX rockets can be safely stockpiled, we offer an unrivalled level of responsiveness.

RDX satellite propulsion systems deliver efficient and precise thrust capability to ensure satellites remain on intended orbits over long-lifetimes.

Canada remains the only G7 nation without sovereign launch capability, forcing Canada's critical missions to depend on foreign rockets. Reaction Dynamics is changing that. In partnership with Maritime Launch Services (MLS) in Nova Scotia, we are establishing a Canadian launch platform that brings this capability home. For the first time, Canada will be able to place its own satellites into orbit, on its own schedule, with its own rockets.

“The leading-edge work in the Canadian space ecosystem is actually enabling us to leapfrog our allies and partners globally. […] We’re on the precipice of sovereign ITAR-free launch capability.”— B.Gen. Christophe Horner, 3rd Canadian Space Division
“Launch should be simple. Now, it is.”— Bachar Elzein, CEO & CTO
